look back.

don't fall.

watch your step.

only so many steps can be retraced.

because sometimes you forget how they went.

don't stop.
don't look back.
that's the message you're always getting.

look back.

you will learn a lot about you, and others, if you look back.

people will tell you things, but they're not always right.

a lot of the time people are wrong.

the One you should be listening to, you've ignore.

the One who really wants to help you, you've push away.

God is that One.

the only One in your life that will always be there.

because you know that in your heart of hearts that those who you hold dearest to your heart will fail you at some point.

just like you will fail those who hold you dear.
and you will realize how helpless you are.
how broken.
how much you need God.

but you forget.
you spend your time worrying about yourself.
you are not needed by God, but He wanted you.
you don't even give your time to the One that wanted you.
but you will hopelessly look for another person just as broken as you are to make you feel wanted.
not God.

the things that go on today; what you wear, where you went, how many people know your name; things like that won't be remembered.
when you look back, the only thing will will look back to try and see is love.
who loved you?
who did you love?
and then the question:...did you show them?
that scares you.

what will be left?
you.
just what you always wanted.
everything was about you.
and then you will find that everything you always wanted wasn't what you wanted after all.

you were broken, and you knew it, but you ignored  it.
you were broken and you spend all your time trying to find someone like you to fix it, who was just as helpless as you were...and you knew, you knew there was only One who could fix you, yet you wouldn't go.

you're still quite young.
change.
not who God has made you to be,
but what you have made yourself to be.
because He knows what He's doing.
you don't.
it's okay, He's there to help.
